The final paper requires students to research and describe one a technology product. It can be a computer application, technology, equipment or device. You must describe a product used for each of the following four health care functions (4 different products no product can be used more than once). Here are the four functions: Health Care Administration/Management Clinical Care and Health Care Delivery Public Health, Epidemiology or Research Higher Education or Professional Education The product described for each function must: Describe a specific product. For example a student who wanted to discuss presentation software should describe Prizi or PowerPoint specifically not presentation software in general. Cannot use the same technology, device or product for more than function. For example you cannot use an electronic medical records application such as Procentive for more than one function. The description must demonstrate the students ability to use the terminology and concepts described during this course. For each of the four function select one of the applications, or technology listed here. Health Care Administration/Management – Describe a software application related to one of the following managerial functions: financial management, billing, coding, human resources, planning, inventory management, facilities management Practice management. Clinical Care and Health Care Delivery – Describe a software application, computerized equipment or device used for direct care in oneof the following areas medical or dental care, surgery, rehabilitation device therapy diagnosis screening Public Health, Epidemiology or Research – Describe a software application or computer technology used for oneof the following patient education and support public health epidemiology research Higher Education or Professional Education Describe a software application or computer technology that is used for oneof the following Higher education in medicine, nursing or other healing professions Professional development of health care professionals
