Global Problems

Choose ONE of the following prompts and write a 3-4 page (750-1000 word) essay in response. The length requirement refers to content not title page, works cited page. Use standard one-inch margins, Times New Roman 12 font, double spaced.  Regardless of which prompt you choose, be sure to explain your thoughts thoroughly and use evidence to support your opinions/argument. Of all the different global problems we’ve learned about this session (war, environmental problems, population issues, global economy) which has the international community been most effective in helping? Discuss how globalization has both contributed to worsening and mitigating this problem. What changes to the international political regime need to be made in order to be more effective in helping solve global problems?  OR 2.  War has always been one of the primary foci of global studies.
