Family Challenges

Comprehension Exercises are an opportunity to demonstrate the acquisition and application of knowledge by the student in regards to the information assigned for this module. For this exercise, interview the family of a child with special needs. Ask family members to describe the issues they face or faced during their child’s transition. If you are unable to find a family member, interview a special education teacher about the challenges that families face during this period. Write a summary of the issues the family members describe including parental concerns about the transition. This exercise should be 2-3 pages using APA format and style.
