Use this tool as a guide to ensure you have captured the key information that should be incorporated into your literature review narrative. Begin your search for literature by utilizing the databases located in the GCU Library. Contact your instructor, the librarian, or library staff for additional researching tips and keyword suggestions. Preview each of the 15 articles chosen by reading the article abstracts and summaries. Article abstracts and summaries provide a concise description of the topic, research outcomes, and significance of findings. Analysis and Appraisal Write an analysis and appraisal (1,500-2,000 words): This section should build and support your case, in the reader’s mind, of why your problem, purpose, and proposed solution are valid. Remember, you are building an argument to prove your case to do this project; this is not simply an article review. Analyze and appraise the selected articles to support your problem, purpose, and solution. Appraise each article by answering the following questions (one to two sentences is sufficient to answer each question): How does the article describe the nature of the problem, issue, or deficit you have identified? Does the article provide statistical information to demonstrate the gravity of the issue, problem, or deficit? What are some examples of morbidity, mortality, and rate of incidence or rate of occurrence in the general population? Does the article support your proposed change? This is attributed to the reason that, there has been an increase in the population hence resulting in a considerate increment in terms of the hospital service requirements. Therefore, the problem has been incurred in the sense that the available resources in healthcare provision have not been worth providing care for the increased number of people. The availability of the resources in the medical field is considered as being an important factor for better service provision among the patients. Some of the resources which have been researched to be on a slight decline include injections, medicines, beddings, food, proper clothing as well as hygiene facilities (Some et al., 2020). Lack of this service has been letting some of the patients not to be in a position of receiving considerate services from the healthcare providers. The research has indicated that some parents have been hosted in the hospital over several years and up to now, they have not been provided with required service. Such patients may be considered as the cause of the limited resources since some patients go to the hospital in daily service. Discussion: Reviewing the Literature and Theory Therefore in the case when they spend more time in the healthcare facilities they result in great problems in terms of provision of a chance for others to be attended. Therefore lack of adequate resources has greatly affected the service being provided hence it has contributed to the increasing suffering of the individuals. This has been considered a negative impact since the organization does not achieve the goal which has been set in the essence of ensuring better service provision among the patients. The problem statement, in this case, should generally focus on the provision of a solution to the problem or issue considerate to the improvement of the patient’s care. EVIDENCE BASED PRACTICE 3 The problem concerning lack of resource availability in patient care quality lies upon the government agencies. This is reflected as a problem since it has contributed to poor service provision in the healthcare organization (Moses, & Sharma, 2020). The problem is important in consideration to my discipline since it helps in the provision of reasons associated with poor patient care quality in the medical field. Therefore, the government should strive at ensuring that there is the effective distribution of the resources in healthcare organizations hence leading to improvement of the service being provided to the patients. The resolution related to this problem strives to ensure that there has been an increase in the supply of the resources to the medical field which will ensure that there is better caring of the patients. Generally, the availability of the resources will determine the overall improvement of the service being provided. By establishing this project, I aim to ensure that there is provision of quality services from all healthcare organizations delivering service to the patients. Through improvement of the resource distribution, there will be effective consideration of the wellbeing of the patients through the utilization of available resources hence leading to a better outcome (Jacob, 2020). The project would also encourage the government in the release of the finance which can be utilized in funding healthcare project which is aimed at improvement of service care.
