Cultural differences and traditions include norms, mores, religion, etc., and can vary widely from one part of the world to another. These are factors that must be addressed when a business operates in different countries. It is so important that a business not alienate a countrys citizens. In some parts of the world that are more group-oriented, the more individualist attitude of many American business people can be offensive. If you are functioning in an international business capacity, you must develop a cultural understanding and sensitivity to the way things are done in the countries in which your business is operating. Review Chapters 2-3 of your Hill & Hult textbook. Write a 1-2 page response discussing what you think is the most difficult and the easiest aspect of culture in international business. Find an article in an academic journal that supports your writing.
