[ORDER SOLUTION] Childhood obesity is an epidemic

Childhood obesity is an epidemic. In the early 2000s, the CDC also stated that T2DM was an epidemic in children due to obesity issues. Up to 1980 T2DM was unheard of in children. I agree that it will take a bundle of interventions to create a culture of health for our children. It does begin with the families and extends to HCP, school personnel, and nutritionists, and activity specialists. The family unit should be involved as well as others who play a major role in the family. In your community what is the dominant culture and how would you include this culture in a plan to prevent obesity? ML
