prepare a written response to the following: Identify a current social issue or problem that is of personal interest to you that you believe your role as a social worker could address. The Survey Research Project is a multi-stage assignment. Part I- Define the Problem: Introduce, research question, purpose, significance of study, and ethical considerations. Part II- Annotated Bibliography: Annotated bibliography consisting of of a list of citations to books, journals articles, and other scholarly documents. Part III- Method and Limitations: A detailed description of your project’s survey method, including target population, sampling, frame, sample design, sample size, mode of administration, reporting unit and level of observation. Explain any issues of error that your design is not able to overcome. Part IV- Survey Instrument: Develop the survey instrument and how each question will be coded for analysis. include a copy of any communication that will accompany your survey. *Prepare a research design protocol, create an online questionnaire, pretext that instrument, write a report, and demonstrate their oral communication skills. Successful completion of oral communication feature both audio and visual components (but no audio-only recordings or voice-overs) in one-shot (continuous) recordings. Submit audiovisual presentation for each of the three survey research project assignments. Each presentation should be between 3-10 minutes in length.

Watch the film, Iron Jawed Angels and write 500-word opinion piece (that’s about two double-spaced pages). Do not recap the film or the clip (I’ve seen them) but write a thoughtful commentary on how we think about gender, human rights, and social change today. In doing so, you might consider which character you most identify with and why and how we put contemporary voter suppression, mostly along racial, ethnic, gendered, and socio-economic lines together with suffrage. Write in your own voice, modeling the persuasiveness of a newspaper op-ed or commentary, You will be evaluated on the sophistication and depth of your response, your ability to make connections to the present, your attention to intersectionality, and the quality of your writing.  Include a creative title! Take some time to read through some stories written by people impacted by drug use. https://www.pbs.org/wgbh/frontline/interactive/heroin-stories/ Using the sociological imagination, answer the following questions (in at least a page 250-300 words). Please keep in mind that if we begin to see the impact of society has on all of us, even our most personal choice, we can see how the sociological imagination works. 1) What made one (or more) of these individuals begin taking drugs?  2) How can you tie that moment to something beyond themselves?  How did their story (biography) intersect with history?  In other words, how did what was so personal connect to social and historical conditions?  What occurred outside of themselves that caused them to begin to use drugs?  Please make sure to use examples from the readings and other course materials (for example, the videos we’ve watched , the personal stories of the people) to help you with your responses.

Write a 700-word response to the following: Conduct some research on a well known social movement of interest to you (e.g., civil rights, animal rights, environmental rights, gay rights, etc. ). Describe the types of actions this movement has taken to instigate social change. Make sure to also include a sociological explanation of your selected social movement in terms of why it needed to be formed. In your paper, include the sociological terms, theories, and/or research that you think apply, and explain how these apply to your chosen social movement.
