As the program manager, you are educating your staff on the merits of qualitative survey research. Consider how you would define and explain what constitutes qualitative survey research, as well as which types of research questions, can be best addressed using survey methods research. Then, formulate one research question you would be interested in studying. Finally, explain how qualitative survey research could be used to answer this question. The Research Paper shall focus on developing a leadership plan for addressing the leadership issues identified in the COVID-19 Case Study. The research paper should apply the knowledge and skills gained from the required courses of the major and your application of the leadership concepts presented in this course. The body of the Research Paper shall be 6-8 pages, excluding other material such as the cover page, table of contents, abstract, graphics and tables, and references. The paper shall be presented in APA (6th or 7th edition) format, all margins should be 1”, 12 point font, and be in either Arial or New Times Roman font style. In the following descending order of preference, information sources must be either peer-reviewed articles, government reports, or other sources approved by your instructor. Internet information sources from other than authoritative sources are discouraged. See the Research Paper grading rubric for more information. Some key points to consider include: When developing a leadership plan for addressing the issue, ensure the plan covers how the chain of command, leadership style, and or the process is executed. You are cautioned to not make the plan all about the special gadget, or policy that was utilized. You should consider using one of the leadership approaches discussed in Ethical Leadership and Competing Stakeholders Module (Module 4) Explain how the plan was managed and or controlled because of the leadership of the agency or department involved Do not take-up most of the paper’s 6-8 pages describing the issue already identified in the previous case study; summarize the case study as briefly as possible. A majority of the paper should be about the leadership process Be sure to cite and reference in APA style. Provide separate cover pages and reference page. Double space all pages and references.

What area of human services would you be most interested in working with? Think about special populations and distinct settings. What assets and values do you bring to the profession? What area of human services interests you the least? What personal or professional characteristics do you feel you need to improve in order to become a human services worker? As a human service professional practicing in the field, it is vital to know which social welfare programs could help your clients. Briefly discuss how social welfare programs have helped many people. Discuss how community organizing can bring about social change.

Students will identify five (5) scholarly articles about a nonprofit agency that are related to a topic from your readings and class discussion. By “article,” I mean an article published in a refereed journal (for example, you can find many of them on JSTOR, Evaluation Review, etc. on the Barry Online Library). This requires them to have clearly defined short-term and long-term strategic goals. As a current or future leader and manager, it is essential that you are not only able to help your organization develop these goals, but you must also help create strategies for meeting them. Therefore, this writing establishes the International Disaster and Poverty Relief Organization, a nonprofit organization that will work diligently to promote a sustainable globe by looking at vulnerable communities and using evidence-based data to establish proactive programs to help them. To do that, the paper identifies the organizational mission and the SWOT analysis of its strategic position while establishing short and long-term goals and how to overcome challenges. International Disaster and Poverty Relief organization The International Disaster and Poverty Relief Organization will be a non-profit organization with its headquarters in North Carolina and an array of branches across the world to help calm the effects of disasters and provide an avenue for well-wishers to improve the livelihoods of people across the world. The organization will be working with the local governments to alleviate the levels of suffering and destitution that is sometimes experienced in tough times. The organization is based on the idea that an evidence-based approach to providing solutions to a significant number of problems that affect the world can help increase the well-being citizens and social stability. The organization’s founders also recognize that a significant number of other existing non-profit organizations do not take time to understand the needs of the communities; therefore, they spend a lot of money providing solutions that do not improve the lives of the intended community.
