Your essay must follow standard essay formatting and structure as follows: Substantive introduction and conclusion that explicitly state the essay’s thesis (your argument) and summarize the paper Fully developed body with well-organized paragraphs, each containing one central idea with topic and concluding sentences Define your terms. If you use terms that can have multiple meanings (e.g. democracy, globalization, capitalism, etc.) make sure you tell the reader the definition you are working off of. Grammar-error free, i.e. no errors in syntax, spelling, capitalization, punctuation, etc. Double spaced, 1” margins, Times New Roman, size 12. Absolutely no quoting. Paraphrase in your own words and cite. Citations and bibliography are formatted in either APA or Chicago/Turabian format. Civic Engagement Project Your civic engagement project can consist of either calling four of your representatives about an issue that you care about or attending a formal government meeting such as a city council meeting. You will then write a 3-page paper detailing your experience and what you learned. You can also propose an alternate project, but it must be approved beforehand. The goal of this assignment is to give you practice in being an engaged citizen that you can continue once the course ends.

Please write a 1 1/2 page paper about the events that took place at the U.S, Capitol. Write your understanding of what happened at the U.S. Capitol today and how does it make America look to other nations? How will it affect the Trump presidency? How will it affect the forthcoming Biden inauguration? Why should or should not the 25th Amendment be invoked against President Trump? Talk about the tale of two Americas in terms of how this incident played out for the rioters today and how it would have played out differently had they been black and/or brown?

You will prepare an original expository essay on the contemporary Army issue facing the Sexual Harassment/Assault Response Prevention (SHARP) program within their organizations. In your essay, explain two recommendations that might improve the effectiveness of your unit’s SHARP. In doing so, use your experience and at least three references to support your proposals. This paper must set forth an argument concerning your experience in this category. You will write clearly and concisely while using correct grammar, sentence structure, and word usage. Accountability would seem to be an important aspect of democratic governance. What is meant by accountability? Referencing the readings in our course, what claims do scholars make about the types of accountability that seem most useful for representative government? Are these claims convincing insofar as accountability being in fact an important aspect of democratic performance?

If there are no systematic review level articles or meta-analysis on your topic, then use the highest level of evidence peer reviewed article. Describe the levels of evidence in each of the four peer-reviewed articles you selected, including an explanation of the strengths of using systematic reviews for clinical research. Be specific and provide examples.
