AC Circuits 1. Please read the word document titled “AC circuit experiment”. 2. Fill out the data sheets of the “AC Circuits PROCEDURE” document with data from the “AC circuit experiment” 3. In this unit, the focus is magnetism. Your task for this project is to choose a topic related to magnetism or another topic related to the concepts you have studied so far in class (but you must receive approval before you begin working), and then create something that demonstrates your understanding of that concept. Before starting this project, please use the “Ask for Help” box to send me a message outlining your plan for this project; this will allow me to give you feedback and direction regarding your project choice. If you turn this assignment in before receiving approval for your project choice, you may receive up to a 25% deduction on your assignment grade. Focus ideas (to get you started): Magnetic fields (for example, relate to compass use or aurora borealis) Electromagnetism History of magnetism Story: Present unit concepts in fictional setting or personify objects to teach concepts; make sure that the focus is on teaching the concept(s) you choose. 550 words minimum. (MLA format should be used for story layout and citing sources, as needed.)

Complete a lab in this module.  Write a full laboratory report  of the lab activities contained in this module. The report must be accurate and clean. The report must be done ONLY in Word Document. Your data must be organized in table using Excel. Then, copy and paste your table to your Report. Use the Excel for the graphing. Copy / past the graph to your report under “Conclusion/ Analyze” section. Upload as a separate file with a data excel table and graph. Add the calculation in your report using the “Formulas” function.

This is a real-world project, designed to promote an understanding of the atmosphere and basic earth science.  Students will write a minimum 5-page summary paper OR do minimum 14 slide PowerPoint (text has to be written in complete sentences!), (more is definitely welcome), on their own severe weather disaster plan.  Students must report a real severe weather event, discuss the nature of weather, detail a specific residential area, pick one type or describe various types of environmental disasters, and describe a DETAILED DISASTER PLAN with evacuation directions.

Submit a 6-8 page treatment of your approved topic. Thorough research and proper documentation of sources are critical—use at least one book, one peer-reviewed journal article, and one example of firsthand research. At least five sources are required in total. Be sure to also include your personal connection to the topic as well as post-research reflection.

Directions: This test is open book, open note, open computer.  Beyond your textbook, there are videos and links in Blackboard.  For this assessment you will answer questions for Chs 9 and 10 Circulatory Responses to Exercise and Respiration during Exercise.  You may use any resource you can find, you must state the information IN YOUR OWN WORDS.  ANY resource must be given credit.  At the end of the sentence, cite your source.  I will not require a formal citation format, just make sure I know and can access your source. You were to choose a mass and angle and perform 20 trials for 5 different lengths of the pendulum string. Prepare a formal lab report for submission focusing only on the following sections:Data Calculations SectionInclude tables of your raw data, sample mean, standard deviation, and standard error. In each caption, state the value of the mass and angle used for all trials.Include a plot of the functional dependence of length on the period of the pendulum.
