The topic is about leadership of innovation, I would describe leadership of innovation, whether as a transformative vs incremental process, or dig into what it takes to develop a culture of innovation, or leadership in developing ideas, etc. then this is fine. You will have to find research references to argue your points and add to what we have already covered.   You can examine any subject that is pertinent to the topic of strategic leadership and organizational behavior with a view to the current and future business environments. You may choose to examine a course topic in greater details or choose another topic that is relevant to you and the course. A construction supervisor for a large homebuilder is interested in seeing whether there are ways of improving the profitability of the company through making better use of the people and equipment that are used to construct homes. Respond to the following: ·       Research the construction industry to learn what the inputs are that are used by such a homebuilder to build homes (the homes are obviously the output that is being produced by the homebuilder). Be sure to include some inputs that are not strictly labor (in other words, include things that are pieces of equipment or resources other than people). ·       Give at least two examples of what a partial productivity statistic would be for some of the inputs that you identified. ·       Give an example of something that would cause the partial productivity of a particular input to be reduced. ·       Give an example of something that could be done to improve the partial productivity of some particular input. ·       Describe how the overall productivity of the homebuilder would be calculated. Choose a product that you are very familiar with and quickly sketch out a rough picture of the product and its customers in the marketplace. Don’t worry about a forecasting model yet – I first want you to get a feel for the demand for this product in the context of other competing products. What are the primary drivers for the demand of this product? Describe the relative elasticity of demand. Are there some macro factors that could affect demand, e.g., disposable income, national advertising, distribution channels, federal and state subsidy programs, etc. Once you have a feel for the market for this product, now think about an appropriate forecasting model, based on your reading from the text.
