[SOLVED] Never Taking Life for Granted
So let me tell you what i want the essay to be about. I want it to be about something about 2nd chances and never taking small things for granted. I say this because back in freshman year i had an incident where i almost died. It was saturday morning and i had tutoring lessons that i always dreaded going to. After completing the lesson i came back home and began to chill on my couch until my heart started randomly beating so fast that it began to hurt bad. I thought it was just a small phase so i gave my self 5 minutes trying to breath slowly in pain then i brought it up with my parents in which we rushed to the ER. 2 hours later in the ER i came to find out that i had a heart beat of 240 and they had to use the defibrillator to calm down my heart. They kept me in the ICU until the next day where a specialized doctor came bearing bad news which was that I had an SVT which required a cardiac ablation surgery to eliminate the extra tissue that lived near my heart my entire life. The doctors told me that in a sense I was very lucky that had my attack at home instead of school or any other place that could’ve been worse. After all that you can write about how i will never take life for granted anymore and that i was given a 2nd chance and ect… ect…make it cheesy you know how to do it;)

[SOLVED] Status Update
PART A: Social Media has become a popular way of documenting our daily experiences, which has led to many questions about the relationship between memoir writing and social media. In the article A Memoir is not a Status Update, Shapiro (2014) questions if her own memoirs would have turned out differently if she had grown up at a time dominated by social media:I wonder what would have become of me if I had come of age as a writer during these years of living out loud. My parents were in a car crash in 1986 that killed my father and badly injured my mother. If social media had been available to me at the time, would I have posted the news on Facebook? Tweeted it to my followers as I stood on line to board the flight home? [ . . . ] And ten years later, would I have been compelled to write a memoir about that time in my life? Or would I have felt that Id already told the story by posting it as my status update? (para. 2)In this assignment, you will discuss the relationship between Social Media and Memoir writing. Specifically, you will write a 400-500 word response to Shapiros article and answer one of the two questions listed at the end of this document.General Instructions: Write an APA-style paper (approximately 400-500 words in length) in response to one of the questions listed (questions on page 2).
