Each question can be answered with a couple sentences. Please explain exactly how this theory is illustrated by this case. 3)Two “riots” occur in Miami, Florida. One involves a crowd of drunk spring-breakers who randomly destroy property surrounding the hotel they are staying at. Nobody is arrested; police just force everyone back into their rooms. In another incident the following day, protestors gather outside a state government building to demand that people receive relief from the economic impacts of Covid-19 and a reform in the police department. One person breaks a glass window and riot police move in and violently disperse the crowd, and arrest several protestors. How would a critical criminologist interpret the distinct treatment of these two groups? Militarization Of Police
Militarization of PolicePolice have always been based on a quasi-military model, but the militarization of police began in the 1960s due to civil unrest and protests.
