His impact is still felt today.   Much of the constitution and the power of the Supreme Court was tested during his tenure as Chief Justice of the Supreme Court from 1801 – 1835.  The decisions made by the court during his tenure as Chief Justice impacted everything from the power of the Supreme Court to commerce within the U.S. to Native American rights.  In this assignment you are to:   Select the (2) most impactful Supreme Court decisions from the John Marshall court (1801-1835) on U.S. history and support the reasons you found these among his most prominent for each selection.    Tie the principles used in the Marshall Court’s decisions you selected to current or recent cases/events within the U.S. showing how it was used in the modern era.
