How are the gendered aspects of this story told, and why are they significant?  Islamic societies in Africa, like those in other parts of the world. were hallmarked by their cosmopolitanism. Had you learned about these societies before, and if so, in what context? If not, why do you think not?

Pope Urban II’s speech

You read several versions of Pope Urban II’s speech launching the First Crusade. What are the common themes found in these versions of the event, and how do you think they were used to motivate those who became Crusaders?  There were some glaring historical ironies in this module. In your policy, be sure to address the following criteria at a minimum: Details of the appraisal process The frequency of performance appraisals The employees involved in the process Keep in mind that the type of organization, as well as regulations, may impact the type of criteria that the employee is appraised on.
