We learned about risk matrices in Week 1 and practice them as a group.  Now for this assignment, you are to make two 3×3 qualitative risk matrices for two aspects of your life. Please articulate the axis of likelihood and consequence or hazard and exposure, depending upon the specific risk analysis you are doing. That is, how did you determine the hazard or consequence and the likelihood or exposure.  Make sure to use the more accurate term for the specific risk you are assessing. You can use these life aspects from mine: Driving to work and I survey hazardous materials (asbestos or mercury). Do not need to be restricted to these two aspects. Feel free to change the life aspects a little bit that works for the paper.  Grading breakdown is as follows: Clear 3×3 matrix for one aspect of your life with clarity of axis and specific examples that shows low, medium, and high risk. This is not a topic we have often (or similar ones) – so it will be fresh to me to review as well. Your topic is approved though you need to more greatly refine the scope/direction of the topic/research and make sure that your approach isn’t just show and tell or identical to the other students. As a topic while it has been chosen occasionally it hasn’t been done so to as great of an extent as many of the other topics or as well as some-often just a poor show and tell sort of effort without any depth of analysis or content. This topic should consist of  how why it works , should we or shouldn’t we be using the process, the possibility/risks of environmental impacts or unintended consequences of why/what, what might be done to mitigate the effects, are there methods that effect or impact in one way but if we do XYZ it doesnt, etc,, why ABC action should or shouldn’t be done and the facts and science behind it are they possible, feasible suitable solutions to try and impact/change the outcomes of using it?

Please write three articles based on the following three questions. Write one page per article. Each question corresponds to an article. (expect 200-300 words): 1) Ecological Footprint Calculation. Calculate your individual ecological footprint. Describe the major contributors of your lifestyle to your ecological footprint. What can you do to reduce your footprint? 2) Pick an ecosystem (eg hydrothermal vent, temperate forest, Arctic tundra, semi-arid desert, etc.). Describe the abiotic and biotic components that make it unique from other ecosystems. What could you measure that would indicate the “health” of this ecosystem as the climate changes. 3) Describe an “environmental success story”, a case study of an area/resource/system that has recovered. Plastic pollution generally involves the gathering of plastic products in the environment. It affects wildlife, wildlife habitat, aquatic culture or humans. But all those casual behaviors of human beings make the environment pollute seriously.   Analyse the current usage of plastic and what is the environmental impact Find out the challenges why we need an alternative solution replacing of plastic bags  Identify the benefits and dis-advantages for replacement of plastic bags (paper bags or decomposable materials ) Provide recommendations how we can reduce the plastic usage
