Due to political instability across the south and north united states dropped two bombs on the neighboring Vietnamese. The bomb operation was preordained to interrupt the flow of supplies into Vietnam in order to prevent the rise of communist forces. The bombs reduced countries per capita in the world and this led to the breaking of the war.The war came to an end when President Nixon signed the peace accords to end direct u.s involvement in the Vietnam war (Rapold and Nicholas, 8-8). Thereby US troops departed Vietnam and left the north communist in the war, which later ceased firefights. According to Timothy O’Brien that marked the end of the Vietnam war in 1975.
