If you have purchased the books that were listed for this course, you will have one called The Indigo Girl.  It is an interesting novel set in colonial South Carolina which involves several actual historic individuals from that era; however, a bit of poetic license was taken since it is fictional. The novel also encompasses the Stono Rebellion (1739), an actual slave uprising, which took place in colonial South Carolina.
