For this assignment, you are going to continue to assume the role of VP for new business development in your company. You are to assume that you are in the process of preparing a quarterly report for the CEO. For your report, you have promised to provide the CEO with an update regarding your analysis of the current structures and climates in relationship to innovation and entrepreneurialism. You also promised to articulate some potential challenges and gaps that may need to be addressed as well as a brief summary of some potential solutions. Therefore, for this assignment you are to author this quarterly report and should include the following components: Component 1: Culture & Systems: An analysis of the current culture and systems for innovation and entrepreneurialism in the organization. Component 2: Best Practices: An exploration of best practices in these areas in terms of what ultimately the organization should be striving for. Component 3: Gap Analysis: A gap analysis between where the company is currently performing in terms of the development of a culture and systems for innovation and entrepreneurialism and actual institutional practice. In articulating this work it would be helpful for you to identify some potential gaps. In other words, don’t make the organization you are working in as a VP seem like nirvana. This portfolio assignment assists you to develop your skills in teaching Health and Physical Education, and being prepared with teaching resources for the classroom. This assignment constitutes the first part of your Portfolio.  By gathering information into a portfolio, you will demonstrate an ability to identify, evaluate and transmit ideas about effective principles, policies and practices for developing Health and Physical Education within a primary school setting. This assignment requires you to add a reflective dialogue and track your reasons for including specific evidence. Your portfolio should not just be a collection of resources. It is important to have evidence of academic and reflective underpinning in order to achieve the requirements of this assignment. Purpose of Assignment: The purpose of this assignment is to analyze a new family’s situation and design a plan to support their child through their transition to your program. Analyze the situation and, using content from this course and your previous course work, design a plan for supporting the child through their transition to your program. Scenarios: You are an educator in a large childcare center and a new family is starting in your program. Aman is four years old and is an ELL. His family recently immigrated to the US from the Middle East.  His father is an interpreter for the military. His mother does not speak English well, preferring to speak Farsi. He has one younger sibling. His family is eager for him to learn English before he starts public school. You own a family childcare (in-home childcare) and a new family is starting in your program. Nora is a nine-month-old infant. Her mother, Karlene, is a teen parent who is starting college to earn a degree. They live with Karlene’s mother, who is also a single parent. Nora has not mastered sitting independently and has spent much of her time in her car seat, bouncer seat or swing. You are an educator in a small childcare center and a new family is starting in your program. Kingston is an 18-month-old toddler who was born with prematurely with a low-birth weight. His mother and father were both drug users prior to his birth. He is now in the custody of his grandparents who are his legal guardians. Kingston shows signs of developmental delays and mild aggressive behavior. Content: Outline your chosen scenario and explain the factors that place this child at risk for special or exceptional needs. Include one reference to support your explanation. Design 10 welcome interview questions based on their particular situation. Your goal is to learn more about their child and family. Determine 2 resources (1 articles and 1 web resources) you can share with the family to provide support for their child. Provide an annotated bibliography entry for each resource. School safety issues continue to intensify in today’s schools. In addition to ensuring that the building and surrounding areas are safe for everyone on the school campus, the principal must understand his or her authority in disciplining students involved in on- and off-campus activities such as gangs, cyberbullying, disruptive students, sexting, violence, etc. Part 1: Case Analysis Using the “Case Analysis Template,” address each step of the decision-making model to render a decision for Case 24. Part 2: Rationale Support the case analysis with a 500-750 word rationale explaining the decisions you made and how those decisions: Support the school’s vision and mission and safeguard the values of democracy, equity, and diversity. This assessment task focuses on how maths and science concepts and processes can be identified, supported and extended through child-led, play-based learning.  You will be provided with a number of images and/ or scenarios to choose from as starting point – these will focus on an everyday item or occurrence or an example of a child’s question or comment. From here you will consider what math and science learning can take place and develop a series of experiences that will extend the child’s learning.  Part A: 200 words (no marks allocated for this section) Select and image or scenario from the provided options as the starting point for your planning. Include a brief explanation of the scenario relating to this image or scenario as well as identification of the age group you will focus on.  Part B: 1000 -1200 words (15/50) Develop a mind map of the maths and science concepts that could evolve from this image or scenario.
