Preparation Research the student population and neighborhood demographics of your immediate area such as your county or city and the demographics of your state. Look at the most recent election results, especially for school board and elected state officials, and see what their opinions are about education. Especially note if your area is either aligned with your larger state or differs from your larger state. I need to write a convincing essay stating why I deserve the scholarship again. Here’s some background on what happened. my family got COVID towards the end of the semester. I was the only one who didn’t catch anything so I was the one taking care of things around the house. and I managed to get an A on all classes but one, my only afternoon class, which was when I was getting these things done for my family. I ended up losing time to study because I was taking care of them and their needs (cooking, cleaning, getting their medications and just making sure they had everything they needed) of course while isolating myself from them and keeping my distance. my brief answers to essay questions: I need to improve my gpa and I will work non stop next semester to hopefully reach the gpa requirement. now that COVID has hit once, the chances of it happening again is possible but unlikely and I will be vaccinated soon so I do not have to worry about that. I plan on using and taking more advance of the tutors and study sessions offered at the College.
