The last few papers I have received the APA formatting has been horrendous. Discuss how college education can enhance a student’s long-term employment outcomes. In what ways does financial aid contribute to or detract from student success? Is it possible for career outcomes to differ for students of various backgrounds? What are some biblical principles related to financial decision making and God’s provision in meeting our physical needs?   Support your discussion of a biblical worldview with specific Scripture passages. The paper must include at least 3 references in addition to the Bible. Be sure to clearly identify major parts of your paper using section headings. The body of the paper must be 1,000–1,200 words.   This assignment must reflect current APA style, which includes, but is not limited to, using 1-inch margins on all sides, 12-point Times New Roman font, consecutive page numbers in the upper right corner of the header, a title page, an abstract, and a reference page.

The work would be to edit and rewrite plagiarism free (it now has several cut and pasted plagiarized paragraphs) 11 pages and to actually write the content for 5 subtitles (about a page per subtitle). Distant Encounter This part involves scholarly resources and Internet/media resources related to the cultural group you will be exploring. This group may be a different ethnicity, religion, and/or culture or have other significantly different cultural features (e.g., the elderly in nursing homes, disabled children, disabled adults, the homeless, prisoners, etc.). You must select a group with whom you have little or no prior experience. For example, if you have interacted with many Cubans previously, you cannot base the project on the Cuban culture. This also applies to your own cultural background. For example, if you are a white student from an Irish background, you cannot base the project on the Irish culture. No reusing past experiences. The cultural group you select must be new for you. For the Cultural Immersion Project – Parts 2 and 3, be aware that you must both participate in cultural group activities as well as interview an individual or married couple from your selected cultural group (see the instructions documents for Parts 2 and 3 for information on those later assignments); therefore, choose a culture group with whom you will be able to interact. You will read at least 3 scholarly sources on your cultural group of interest (the resources must published by 2005 or later). A pertinent, unassigned chapter from the McGoldrick et al. text may count as 1 of these resources; however, the Hays & Erford text chapters may not count as a source. You must also use the Internet or media to examine at least 3 significant media sources related to the culture. For example, on the Internet, you may find the following types of resources that are both culturally useful and prominent: Online newspapers from the selected country, Internet radio broadcasts, Music from the country/group, Movies or videos, Culture-specific online magazines or websites, and/or Organizations. You will answer the questions listed below. First person may be used in your answers, and you must observe correct and current APA style. The paper must have a correct title page, and you must use a reference page if you cite resources (no abstract is needed). A word estimate is beside each question; however, the quality of your answer is more important than the word count. You may expand further, but you do not have to do so. Note that the research you do for Parts 1 and 2 is necessary for the completion of Part 3. Organize all the notes and resources you have gathered thus far to enable you to easily accomplish the final part of this project.

Fullan (2016) discusses three phases of the change process including initiation, implementation, and institutionalization. Synthesize and apply what you have learned from the course readings to a change effort within your school or district. Begin by briefly describing the change initiative. Which phase appears to be most applicable to your current situation and why? What were the effective aspects of the change initiative? What were the ineffective aspects? Search for and summarize an article that suggests effective strategies for differentiating instruction for a specific content area/skill in a specific elementary grade. When typing an Article Review, follow this format and include the bolded headings: List the bibliography at the top. Use APA format. If you do not have the APA manual (6th edition), you would be wise to get one as you will use this format throughout your work here at DSU. You can also find this information on-line, but be warned that the manual itself is over 400 pages long. The Purdue University Online Writing Lab link on the home page is a helpful source for APA format. It is your responsibility to locate and use the reference style information.   Summarize the article information. Type it in 12 font, Times New Roman, and double-spaced. Your summary should not be over 1 1/2 pages long. It is important to summarize and not restate the entire article. I prefer you to not use quotes unless it is absolutely necessary to get your point across. If you use direct wording from the article, enclose them in quotation marks and add page numbers (see APA format resources).     3.   Reflect on how the information can benefit your teaching practices. Your reflection should not be over 1 page long. Your reflection should not be a repeat of the summary or the actual article content. Instead, it should reflect insights into the information as it applies to effective instruction. Include specific examples of how you can use the information to influence your instructional practices.

This portfolio assignment assists you to develop your skills in teaching Health and Physical Education, and being prepared with teaching resources for the classroom. This assignment constitutes the first part of your Portfolio.  By gathering information into a portfolio, you will demonstrate an ability to identify, evaluate and transmit ideas about effective principles, policies and practices for developing Health and Physical Education within a primary school setting. This assignment requires you to add a reflective dialogue and track your reasons for including specific evidence. Your portfolio should not just be a collection of resources. It is important to have evidence of academic and reflective underpinning in order to achieve the requirements of this assignment. Assignment 2A portfolio items 1 Food and nutrition An online resource  relating to the teaching of food and nutrition. 2 Movement and skills An online video  you can use to highlight correct skills technique of a movement skill. Part 1: Observation and Collaboration Observe a grade K-3 certified general education classroom during English Language Arts instruction and then interview and collaborate with your mentor teacher about literacy assessment and developing a successful literacy framework. Take notes during your interview and with your mentor teacher discuss the following: Which literacy assessments have proved to be successful in identifying student needs? How were these assessments chosen? What data collection methods are used to track and monitor student progress? How does assessment data drive curriculum and the literacy framework? What steps are taken to develop a literacy framework that meets the needs of all students? What does a comprehensive literacy framework include? What technology tools are used to focus on continuous and effective data? How is data information shared with students and students’ families? What does a typical literacy block of instruction include? How are the cognitive, emotional, social, and developmental needs of students factored into instruction choices? What steps are taken to monitor and adjust curriculum based on student needs What technology tools are utilized in the classroom to reinforce and develop literacy curricular concepts outlined in the literacy framework? Ask additional and follow-up questions as appropriate. Part 2: Reflection In 250-500 words, summarize and reflect upon your observations of literacy instruction and assessment, explaining how you will use your findings in your future professional practice. Include a summary of interview and discussion with mentor teacher detailing literacy in the classroom and how it is instructed, assessed, and developed to meet the diverse needs of students. Submit a summary of the interview/discussion and reflection as one deliverable. APA format is not required, but solid academic writing is expected. This assignment uses a rubric. Review the rubric prior to beginning the assignment to become familiar with the expectations for successful completion.
