Create your own story as you will submit it in your response assignment on the next page.  Video  #2: Split Sides 46 Split Sides 46, Directed by Charles Atlas, Choreography by Merce Cunningham Again, based on you and  your own aesthetic sense, what is happening in this piece? What is your version of a story that is happening here? Do you notice the difference in setting and the sequence of the events in comparison to Split Sides 45? How does this change in scenery and sequence influence this story? I have had you watch the first 5 minutes of both Split Sides 45 and Split Sides 46 in the previous page. Because Merce Cunningham, the choreographer, didn’t want to force a story or message upon his audience, it was up to you to create a story for yourselves based on what you saw. Please give me a short description of the story you have personally created for both Split Sides 45 and 46.  Your response should have your name and date in the upper left hand corner and will be due Friday 9/11 by 11:59pm. Where the movements executed well? 4) Describe the aesthetic elements of the piece.
