This assignment will consist of creating a poster, in which you can advertise anything you want– your favorite restaurant, band, political figure, or a special place you love. Please take some time to look at the various posters on the Wikipedia page for inspiration. This assignment should be your original work, not a copy. You’re welcome to incorporate color into your poster, with either colored pencils, ink, or paint. First, do a 10-minute sketch to work out your idea. Then do the poster based on the sketch. The poster will take 1-2 hours. You’ll be turning in 2 drawings: 1) A sketch, showing the composition. 2) Your poster Tip: Keep it fairly simple– don’t clutter your poster with too much text.
