Career Action Plan
A career action plan is a document that thoughtfully outlines steps you plan to take to reach your specific career/life goals. For this class, you will develop career action plan that clearly describes goals you hope to achieve in order to reach degree completion. Your action plan will also plot the career path you wish to initiate and follow over the next five years (post-graduation) so that you can achieve career success. The action plan will: describe goals that are realistic, measurable and attainable identify responsibilities of the student propose a specific timetable for completing goals identify resources needed to complete the goals identify potential barriers to achieving the goals and describe actions to overcome these barriers The career action plan, which must be written in complete paragraphs, should be at least 4 -5 pages in length. It will highlight your primary career interest(s), long and short term goals, resources available to help you achieve your goals and possible barriers you may encounter. Your plan must also include a realistic timeline for you to follow.
