Business Proposal Validation
The purpose of this assignment is to analyze networking interactions to determine pivots that should be made to the business proposal. The ability to use feedback from potential customers, investors, resources, advisors, and mentors to pivot and make changes that will propel your business idea forward is critical to entrepreneurial success. Complete the following steps to indicate how you will pivot and provide justification for your pivoting decisions. In the Topic 7 assignment you analyzed your networking interactions to validate your business proposal. For this assignment, refer back to the “Business Proposal Validation” worksheet you submitted for the Topic 7 assignment and use those findings to determine changes and update all nine sections of the Business Model Canvas as needed to propel the business forward. Based upon your interactions with potential customers, partners, resources, advisors, and mentors, summarize what you learned from your networking interactions throughout the course. In a 500-word reflection, address the following: Discuss what you learned about the validity of your business proposal. Provide specific examples to illustrate its validity or lack thereof. Identify three specific pivots (changes) that will propel your business proposal forward and justify them based upon your networking experiences. Assess the effectiveness of your social media campaign. Summarize your results by including the number of connections, followers, site visits, retweets, posts from connections, etc., based upon the social channels you selected. Provide at least one specific example from each of your selected media channels to justify your effectiveness assessment. Submit the reflection and Business Model Canvas PDF to your instructor. APA style is not required, but solid academic writing is expected. This assignment uses a rubric.
