Assignment: People of varying ages have different attitudes toward death.
Ask people of different ages (ideally, at least one from each decade: younger than 20, in their 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s, 70s or older), what thoughts they have about their own death. Have they experienced the death of a close friend or family member? Are they fearful or not? How has their cultural background influenced their attitudes? What differences did your find and how might you attribute the differences to age or culture? Summarize your findings in a 1 2 page paper. Use the content in your textbook to support your conclusions.
Your assignments must reflect analysis and synthesis of the learning outcomes for this course. The content, conciseness and clarity of your answers will be considered in the evaluation of your work. You must integrate the material presented in the text and cite your work according to APA format. 1. Discuss inborn genetic differences between females as it relates to brain development and the behavioral differences that may occur because of these differences.
2. Give an overview of the origin and control of emotion.
3. What structure(s) control thirst and hunger, and how is this done?
4. Design a weight loss program based on the mechanisms discussed above. Document how your program utilizes these principles.
