The historical context of your organization is important as you determine assessments that would be feasible and effective in driving results and desired outcomes in your field.

Research assessments that have been used within your school or workplace. In four to six paragraphs, share your organization’s position with respect to assessment. Include responses to the following points:

• A brief history of the development of their assessment program.
• Alignment with standards, benchmarks, or certifications relative to your organization.
• How are assessments used with respect to student education?
• Any other information that you find interesting about your assessment policies.

Support your statements with evidence from the Required Studies and your research on your organization’s adoption of assessment. Cite and reference your sources in APA style.
