Written Assignment 3-1:  Applying Theories of Aging to someone you know Within this module, you have learned about a significant number of theories that suggest how and why the aging process occurs in individuals the way that it does. For this assignment, you are asked to do the following: A. Select one person over the age of 50 whose life you are very familiar with. It is best if this can be a friend or family member whom you have observed across many years. If this is not possible, you may want to select a long-term television figure or other fictional character that you have been aware of for a number of years. B. In a 2-page essay with proper paragraph spacing, please do the following: 1.  Describe the person’s basic demographic information; age, gender, race, sexual identity, ability status, etc. 2. Describe 3-4 of their basic life events in approximately 3/4 of a page. 3. Select one theory and discuss how it explains their process of aging. 4. Additionally please select an alternate theory that would function as a “second choice” and briefly apply it to their aging process as well in 1-2 paragraphs. *Please be very sure to number each section and separate out each part of the answer into individual paragraphs.
