If you have a source that is less than 5 pages, you may use 2-3 sources, for a total of 5 pages. The Annotated Reading and Critical Response assignment has six components: Ask Questions about what you are reading Make Comments (thoughts or reactions to the text) Draw Connections to things outside the text: your experience, history, current events Paraphrase Significant Passages (either in the margin, or on a separate page); Underline or Highlight Key Points  Circle Vocabulary that is not clear or that you want to remember. Note: Annotations can be scanned, uploaded as photos or documents from Adobe, Scrible, etc., or you can type your notes on a separate page. If you type notes for #1-4, you may attach photos of #5 and #6 to your Discussion Board post. Note: Also, make sure that you define the vocabulary terms that you have circled. Respond to two of your peers’ posts by making connections between your responses and their own, your thoughts about what they chose to highlight, and the general clarity of the ideas presented.
