Accountability and Professionalism in Nursing Practice on the concept of “professional identity formation.” 1. Complete Reading #1 “From the Inside Out: A New Approach to Teaching Professional Identity Formation and Professional Ethics” and reflect on the questions. 2. Then complete Reading #2 “Nursing Students’ Professional Value Development: Can We Do Better?” and reflect on those questions. 3. Then summarize your responses to the questions, as if you are sharing your findings in a face to face class. Consider a narrative that will explain your impressions of the models in Reading #1 as well as what you read from the second article. 4. There is no need to search for further resources, as these articles will provide a basis for our discussion. How can the findings of this study inform nurse educators as they develop courses that discuss values and professionalism?
