he subject of the paper you will be writing for this semester is the financial crisis that occurred in 2008. The paper will be a 1000 words, doubled spaced, about 250 words per page. The official name of the law that created the “bailout” was the Emergency Economic Stabilization Act of 2008. President Bush signed this act into law on October 3, 2008 . Your paper must include at least five (5) references listed at the end of your paper. You can NOT use wikipedia or any reference that has the word pedia in it. 3. Your paper will need to explain and show the relationship between these five terms: A. Sub-prime lending B. Collapse of the housing market C. Bundled mortgage securities D. Liquidity E. Government’s efforts to bailout the nation’s banks. 4. Your paper should have a minimum of seven (7) paragraphs. There should be an introductory paragraph, a paragraph for each of the five (5) topics you are to discuss, and the last paragraph should be your conclusions to include a sentence or two about what you learned as a result of writing this paper. 5.  Your paper should have a minimum of five references that need to be listed at the end of your paper. I do not have a preference on how your list your references. I do not require that your paper use either the APA or the MLA format. 6.  Your paper will be evaluated using the below criteria: a. The details and specifics contained in your paper as they relate to the above items. b. Your use of and your understanding of the terms used in your text book to describe the uniqueness of small businesses. c, The overall quality of your writing, to include grammar and sentence structure.
