Hello, My essay is on Alexander Hamilton and why he helped primarily develop America into what it is today. The South regarded him as aristocratic and found his practices to unfavorable to the South. I’d like my essay to focus on how his actions was to unite America for the greater benefit, during his tenure as Secretary of the Treasury. Alexander Hamilton spoke out against slavery and wanted to focus on manufacturing, as he believed it was progressive. Little did he know, the cotton gin would strengthen the slave trade, but his intentions were good. Reference need to be from scholarly sources.
