I saw your post discussion and I am very impressed by the photos you picked to represent the elements of art composition. Art language consists from the essential formal elements: line, light and value, color, texture and pattern, space, time and motion, and shape and volume; and the principles by which those elements are formulated. We all have the curiosity to know what is the visual art behind each object around us. When we observe the reason, identify color schemes, and how those elements are formed, we become very satisfied; thus, we appreciate the artwork. It is nice to observe the art composition from the environment we are living in, especially artists they would create a stronger artwork when they apply these principles of art. In sum, art decorates our lives. The more we know about art, the more our existence is developed by it.

When we analyze any drawing, painting, sculpture or design, we examine these component parts to see how they combine to create the overall effect of the artwork. In terms of art, line is considered to be a moving dot. It has an endless number of uses in the creation of art.

Line can control an viewer’s eye. It can describe edges. It can indicate form as well as movement. It can also indicate value and a light source in drawing. Knowing the elements and principles of art boosts visual literacy. Artists and creators make more powerful works when they utilize the principles of art. When viewers are familiar with the elements of art, they become more aware of the details and can better appreciate what they see and the message behind it.

I really like your collections of pictures and the differences between them , the most thing attract me in pictures are colors. First i start with picture has green color which is plants , we all know plants refers to life and the green color is more common color it gives me relax and comfort feelings when i saw it. Also i like the picture with heart , the color and the shape both refers to love and I want to tell you pink is one of my favorite color. the picture of the sky and ocean is amazing , we all know the mean of the water to our life , and how we feel when we see the waves in the ocean that blue colors give us the calm feelings , we are lucky to have this color in the sky and the waters covers more than two-thirds of the earth. in conclusion Sandra you have amazing images from different aspects of our life.
