guidelines for Case Study Paper This paper is a case study of a patient with a health-related issue with whom you have worked or are working. If you are not providing direct patient care at this time it can be someone with whom you are interacting who has a health issue. It could also be yourself. You are to approach this individual in a holistic manner and discuss how you would approach the condition holistically. What would a holistic assessment include? What would be important for you to assess in order to assist the client to be healthier? Of the many modalities that you have been reading about and practising, which would be beneficial for your subject of the paper? Please use at least 2 research-related articles to illustrate the holistic modalities that you have chosen and how they relate to the condition you are discussing. Please show any research that relates to the effectiveness of the interventions you choose. Rubric for the paper CRITERION POINT ALLOCATION 1.Introduction- Describe your patient or subject. Include all data related to the holistic health assessment. Include physical, psychosocial, emotional, holistic, environmental and health-related data . 25 2. Discuss the health condition or need that you have identified as a problem. Please use appropriate reference materials to discuss the condition (medical-surgical text, articles, nutrition texts etc.) 20 3. Describe the holistic modality/modalities that you would introduce to help the patient be healthier. Use at least 2 journal articles that discuss the effect of the modality on the health condition. Be sure to document any research that has been done. 25 4. Reflect personally on how this type of intervention would affect your practice if you are in a healing profession. If able to actually introduce this to the individual, describe how he/she reacted to the suggestion of the holistic modality. What suggestions would you make to improve or change your approach with patients/subjects in the future?
