Each of these has strengths and weaknesses. Additionally, in other readings for this week and previously, the idea that applied anthropology is a fundamental approach to consider. Applied anthropology, its methods, and its tendency to work in groups with medical specialists offer a unique formula in the control of infectious diseases is another factor to consider when analyzing what anthropology can contribute to the understanding and control of the COVID-19. In your discussion post for this week, articulate which of these approaches (or combination of) seems like that it will provide the necessary analysis and information so that an effective strategy can be developed to stop the COVID-19 pandemic swiftly.
