Pro arguments (three paragraphs, min.) in essence, this section is the body of the pro arguments. 5. Con arguments (three paragraphs, min.) in essence, this section is the body of the con arguments. 6. Expand your perspective 7. Reviewing the common ground; that is, instead of attempting to persuade, review consensus-building solutions that have been proposed to reconcile these opposing viewpoints and/or forward own such solutions. 8. Consensus/solution (two paragraphs, min.) This is the section where you provide the analysis of the issue. Review what solutions have been proposed. Some questions to think about: To what extent those solutions represent a consensus. Is there a potential solution that no one has mentioned yet? Is consensus possible? 9. Conclusion (one paragraph) -restate thesis & review major points, especially from the solutions section. 10. Must be formatted in APA style; including at each level 1 headings (subtitles) to clearly mark the sections described above. Include in-text citations and full citations on the References page.
