[SOLVED] Diabetes Mellitus
The research assignment for this class is a research paper on a topic of your choosing that relates to mechanical ventilation or critical care of the neonatal and/or pediatric patient. This could be a mode of ventilation or an assessment technique, case study, or disease in relation to mechanical ventilation. Your topic does not have to cover a topic we cover in class. As long as it fits within the confines of mechanical ventilation and critical care of the neonatal or pediatric patient, it will be considered for approval. The paper must be double-spaced and 3-5 content pages in length (content pages do not include title and references pages). Carrington College provides access to numerous databases through EBSCO Host, a database search engine, and it is highly recommended for your use when researching peer-reviewed material. At least 5 references are required, of which, 3 must be peer-reviewed. Scoring is based upon demonstrated knowledge of the topic (content), organization, mechanics (grammar, spelling, & punctuation), references and proper use of APA formatting (refer to rubric for complete grading standards). Papers that are written after rough drafts have been made generally score higher with their final draft.
