[ORDER SOLUTION] DEFNINTION ESSAY
My teacher added these comments for me to edit for my final draft: Why are not quotes? Paraphrasing is off limits. You must demonstrate you know how to quote and document and apply quotations. Capitalize cited. Proofread well. Unfortunately, since there are no quotations in the paragraphs, the work does not follow the A, E, E development and construction, so it is not a show draft.??????????????????????????????????? THE AEE HE IS REFERRING TO IS BELOW: Your body paragraphs should follow this development pattern: A, E, Elet me interpret for you. It is a memory device known as Assertion, Evidence, and Evaluation. A=Assertion or your topic sentence. This sentence is your words that presents the idea of that paragraph. For example, if you were writing about the roller coasters at Disney World, your assertion/topic sentence might read as follows: The variety of roller coasters at Disney World are a thrill seekers dream world. Next, you have Evidence (E), which would be a quote from a source or an example from a newspaper or other source with QUOTES, no paraphrases. Example: The SteamRoller coaster at the Magic Kingdom provides three Gs worth of fun in the final plunge into a lagoon of water for the thrill-seeking rider, (Bradley). Notice the quotation and the author in-text citation. Third, you would have the last E, which stands for Evaluation. This step involves the writer connecting the Assertion and the Evidence for the readers understanding. The writer is holding the hand of the reader and may be telling what a reader may assume to be obvious. Example: Thrill-seekers looking to cool off, while upsetting their stomachs at the same time, would do well to schedule a ride on the SteamRollder coaster at the Magic Kingdom. (Again, these are your words.) Last, you would have a concluding sentence for the paragraph, and you are done. The skeleton outline for the body paragraphs would look as follows: Assertion Evidence Evaluation Concluding sentence.
