[ORDER SOLUTION] Dance Focused Cinema

Part One: 1) View a scene from any film in the 70s that has dance as a focus. 2) View a scene from any film in the 80s that has dance as a focus. 3) View a scene from any film in the 90s that has dance as a focus. 4) View a scene from any film in the 2000s that has dance as a focus. *If you have trouble finding films from this time period, please reach out to me for suggestions. Part Two: Describe the dance scenes in great detail using the elements of dance and answer the following questions: What makes these scenes memorable? (Comment on performers, music, costumes, storytelling, choreography, etc) Discuss the development of dance in film from the silent film era until now. (What stands out to you, what cinematic effects are available, etc) What focus does dance on film have at this point in time compared to others films from the earlier in the semester. (Ex. Performance, entertainment, storytelling) Describe the form and style of dance that was captured on film throughout history. How did it capture the essence of the particular time periods? Please include the links, with proper citations to all films that you view for this assignment. Use complete and well thought sentences. Grammar and spelling are important. Minimum length = 2 pages, double spaced, 12-font.
